Babies have melt downs  over silly things.  Adults have melt downs over a vase breaking.  We also have melt downs over stocks, politics etc…

There is a difference between intellectual maturity and emotional maturity.  There is also something called emotional intelligence.

My point is that babies and adults have more in common than we think.  I would argue that many adults aren’t much more emotionally mature than babies and toddlers.

The circumstances of life become more complex.
