Although they are mostly under 1 year of age, our babies are top designers.  Many of them teach graphic design at some of the nation’s universities.

They also created remedial graphic design courses at some of the nation’s top nursery schools.

Most clothing for babies was created by adults.  I know this seems hard to believe but it’s a fact.  However, adults can never truly understand a baby’s mind or motivations.

That’s why we strictly hire babies to run our website and make our t shirts.

In fact, the boss of our marketing department is a baby.  She is the one that ordered me to write this blog.

My friend went to a hippy festival recently.   It was called the “Gathering of the vibes.”   This is something we are going to get involved with in the future.

Submissive jumping up on people?  Can such a thing exist?  We have been told that it’s a “dominance issue” when dogs jump up on humans.

This is not always the case.  Yes, it’s true that a dog that forcefully begs to be petted is a problem.  You don’t want a dog that is lifting your arm with her nose in an attempt to get petted.

However, there is something that I would call “submissive jumping” on the owner.  IT’s called submissive licking in the wild.

When a dog submissively licks at your mouth, it is a throwback to something that all puppies do in nature.  The litter will lick at the mouth of the adult dogs.

The adult dogs then regurgitate for the pups.  I’m not advocating throwing up in order to appease your dogs.

What I am saying is that there are different types of jumping up.  When a dog submissively tries to lick my mouth, I act aloof.

Alpha dogs act kind of aloof.  It’s hard to imagine but not all alpha dogs behave like dictators.

If you have a dog that acts like a dictator then cheer the pup up with one of these funny t shirts for dogs.

A dog’s freedom needs to be earned in increments.  A puppy should be physically attached or in sight of the caregiver at all times.  After all, isn’t that what a good pack leader does?

It’s the duty of the highest ranking alpha member to protect the lower ranking members.  This flies in the face of people who buy dogs for protection.

In my view, you should protect your dog unless your dog has gone through bite work and protection training.  It is a mistake to think that your dog will know what to do when the time comes.

With some dogs, you might be right.  The dog will attack and know what to do when the time comes.  However, if a strange dog approaches that is off leash off leash, you should scare or force the dog away.

You can even use citronella spray if a dangerous doggy approaches.  This is one way to earn your dog’s trust and respect.
